    Location: Edmonton Employment Type : Full-Time Overview The Sales Lead will be responsible for expanding, growing, and leading our Edmonton market. This role requires a player-coach who can balance personal production with the leadership and development of Account Executives (AEs). The MD will be expected to build a high-performing team, win new clients, and deliver exceptional results, even when faced with challenges. We’re looking for a Sales Lead to lead and grow our Edmonton market. This is a senior leadership role for someone who thrives as a player-coach — balancing personal production with developing a team of junior and senior Account Executives. You’ll be responsible for driving growth, building client relationships, and developing a high-performing team that consistently delivers exceptional results. Key Responsibilities Grow the Edmonton Market Expand and scale the branch to meet and exceed targets for Gross Margin, CFP, and EBITDA. Win new logo clients while expanding share with existing customers. Identify local market opportunities and implement strategies to strengthen performance. Manage discretionary SG&A costs to meet profitability goals. Client Development & Retention Build and maintain senior-level relationships across technology leadership groups (CIO, CTO, CISO, PMO, etc.). Drive unique client meetings (UCMs) to increase market visibility and penetration. Ensure client coverage and relationship mapping are consistently maintained. Leadership & Team Development Hire, train, and coach Account Executives to build a balanced, high-performing team. Actively coach AEs on business development, client management, and consultative sales. Lead by example—maintain personal production while coaching and developing others. Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance reviews, and development planning. Lead from the front: model behaviors by maintaining personal production while managing the team. Promote collaboration, accountability, and a winning culture. Accountabilities Achieve branch targets for Gross Margin, CFP, and EBITDA. Establish a sustainable, profitable presence in the Edmonton market. Build a team with a minimum of three A-level Account Executives and a strong recruiting group. Deliver a semi-annual management survey Net Promoter Score (NPS) above 50. Experience & Education Minimum 2 years of proven success as a high-performing Account Executive in professional services. Minimum 1 year of experience managing both sales and recruiting teams. Proven ability to build or expand a market is highly preferred. Staffing industry experience strongly preferred. Deep understanding of SaaS architecture. Strong communication skills and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and agile methodologies. Comfortable being hands-on with code while leading others. Nice to Haves Experience in the Data Protection space (Data Backup and Recovery) Experience with Product-Led Growth tools and strategies.
