Why this role is important to us: The Principal Solutions Consultant is a key position in influencing the sales and marketing efforts to achieve license revenue targets and expand SimCorp’s profile across the Americas. The Principal Solutions Consultant coordinates the functional RFI/RFP process and presentations/demonstrations of SimCorp One to prospective and existing clients. What you will be responsible for: Deliver impactful demonstrations that highlight the unique value of SimCorp One. Lead discovery meetings, assess business needs, and propose optimal solutions to address pain points and achieve desired client outcomes. Support sales strategies and identify new opportunities for SimCorp solutions with existing and prospective accounts. Overall knowledge of all areas in SimCorp One while also being an expert in the Accounting Domain. Stay current on the SimCorp One offer, partnerships, and certifications while actively knowledge sharing and mentoring others. Provide inputs to the product team on market trends and evolving requirements. Attend relevant client and industry events and assist with marketing programs. Travel as required: The nature of the role means that it is an inherent requirement that you be available to travel for extended periods of time to meet the responsibilities of the role, support our clients, and meet business requirements. Up to 50% travel per month may be necessary at peak times. What we value: University degree qualified, ideally in business or technology. 7+ years of experience in presales/implementation within the FSI or Fund management sector. Knowledge of the relevant North American Accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, US GAAP, US STAT, US TAX). Exceptional presentation and product demonstration skills, clearly communicating complex concepts. Experience with technical business documentation like workflow diagrams, RFPs, and RFIs. Proven ability to meet deadlines and collaborate effectively with sales teams. Relationship builder with good interpersonal effectiveness and a cross-functional collaborator. Why this role is important to us At SimCorp we rely on our cloud platform-as-a-service and team to deliver Client Reporting-as-a-Service to our clients. We are seeking an experienced cloud systems administrator to maintain essential platform operations for our global client base. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for the availability and maintenance of our hosted platform, handling incidents and service requests, and providing Level 3 troubleshooting. You will also be required to gain a basic understanding of how the Coric application works to support your platform responsibilities. There will also be opportunities to assist with onboarding new clients and contributing to various projects. What you will be responsible for Manage support cases within the framework of an incident management process. Take ownership of cases reported by clients and provide support, down to Level-3, to troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve issues with the Client Reporting Platform. Complete regular maintenance and upgrade work such as Windows Server patching, infrastructure and application upgrades, license management, service and system restart, and Virtual Server and SQL Server backup and restores. Action service requests for internal and external clients such as environment refreshes, data migrations, deploying Virtual Machine resources, and installing whitelisted software. PowerShell coding and working with code repositories such as Azure DevOps. Able to update ‘everything-as-code’ artefacts to fix issues, deliver new infrastructure and application services, and automate operational processes. Support the team's security and compliance commitments for vulnerability monitoring and remediation, annual penetration testing, disaster recovery testing, and completing audit checks of our processes and procedures. Deploy scheduled changes using continuous delivery tooling and automations within the framework of a Change Management process. Support projects to onboard new customers or improve our offering to existing customers by representing the Coric-as-a-Service team and being responsible for our project deliverables such as deploying new infrastructure services or troubleshooting issues. Provide on-call support outside of regular working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. What we value Tech Stack / Environment: Microsoft Azure (must have), Microsoft Windows Server, .NET application, RDG Server, IIS Server, SQL Server, Windows PowerShell Demonstrated experience in Azure cloud, Windows Systems Administration including Active Directory Domain Services, Remote Desktop Services, IIS Server, and SQL Server. Knowledge of cloud networking concepts including VPC, subnets, load balancers, and VPN gateways. Strong scripting skills in PowerShell and Azure CLI for automating cloud operations. Proficiency in Azure services such as Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, and Azure Networking. Familiarity with Git operations and version control with Azure DevOps. Nice to have Knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering framework and ITIL. Experience working in an Agile environment. Experience with cloud and infrastructure monitoring tools. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools. Experience with Linux Systems Administration. Experience working with ITSM software such as Salesforce, Remedyforce, ServiceNow, JIRA, or similar. We require a skilled professional who: Contributes and provides input to solution design from both the technical and operational perspective. Will take ownership of operational issues and manage the often complex technical details and cross departmental dependencies.
