    The Impact of This RoleAt SmartD, we value individual initiative and technical execution. As our Project Manager, you will be the key technical expert ensuring our Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) products meet global standards and reach our partners efficiently. You will:Drive Innovation: Lead New Product Development (NPD) projects, planning and coordinating the R&D effort from concept to completion.Drive Disruption: Lead the full certification lifecycle (cULus/cETLus and CE Mark), taking our disruptive technology from the lab to international markets.Drive Adoption: Lead our OEM projects, serving as the primary point of contact between our strategic partners and the internal technical team.
    What You BringProject Management (3+ Years):Proven experience managing complex technical projects independently.Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.PMP or similar project management certification is a strong plus.Technical & Certification Expertise:Aptitude: Ability to understand technical concepts related to Hardware/Software validation (familiarity with VFDs or industrial automation is an asset).Standards: Strong understanding of product certification lifecycles (cULus/cETLus and CE Marks).Regulations: Familiarity with UL 61800-5-1 and the IEC/EN 61800 standards; experience dealing with regulatory bodies is preferred.Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, a technical field, or equivalent experience.Language: Fluency in both French and English is required for this role (written and verbal).
