As part of this team the Fire and Life Safety Specialist will perform a critical role in the design and planning phases of a major rail infrastructure project, ensuring that all fire protection and life safety systems are integrated into the design in compliance with applicable codes, standards, and best practices. This role involves close collaboration with first responders, engineering teams, architects, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders to embed safety into the built environment from concept through detailed design and into construction. In addition, the Fire and Life Safety Specialist is expected to develop a capability for applying FLS strategies and executing FLS assessments within the Rail, Transit Systems and Telecommunications (RTST) team.This role will be based in Montreal.
