    The Opportunity: The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for developing and executing personnel procedures and policies and providing guidance and interpretation for business operations in Canada.     A Glimpse Into Your Day:

    Ensure legal compliance of province and federal regulations and applicable employment laws, and update policies and/or procedures as requiredSupport human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; occupational health and safety; and training and development.Develop human resources solutions by collecting and analyzing information; recommending courses of action and best practicesParticipate in creation, evolution and delivery of training programs and materials which have high clarity and impactProvide day-to-day performance management guidance to front line leaders (e.g., coaching, counseling, disciplinary actions)Partner with various stakeholders and departments to identify and prioritize opportunities for process improvement and new initiativesMaintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees while reducing legal risks; partner with internal and/or external legal counsel as requiredPrepare and complete reports and communications as needed in compliance with provincial and federal requirementsAssist with various HR-related projectsPerform other duties as assigned

    The Opportunity: The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for developing and executing personnel procedures and policies and providing guidance and interpretation for business operations in Canada. This position plays a critical role in providing support and partnership to the business to ensure multi-province compliance.
