  • Inside Sales - Pipe, Valve and Fittings

    Spitfire Recruiting is hiring on behalf of a confidential industrial distributor. The successful candidate will deliver industry leading customer service by professionally, quickly, and accurately processing quotes and orders for industrial products.
    Essential Duties and Responsibilities
    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Provide customers with quotes, pricing details, shipping dates, and order status updates. Process incoming orders to customer specifications and manage changes or concerns through to full customer satisfaction. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support seamless order flow. Use strong product knowledge to advise customers on pricing, availability, lead times, and any relevant information required to complete an order. Maintain and monitor daily open-order reports, providing regular updates to sales and management. Expedite orders by monitoring current and incoming inventory levels and aligning stock to open orders. Input order information into internal systems and calculate total costs as needed. Prepare and forward shipment documents to warehouse personnel for processing and delivery. Follow up on all orders to ensure on-time delivery. Review and process daily invoices. Address and resolve customer issues or complaints promptly and professionally. Coordinate with production, shipping, warehouse teams, and carriers to track or expedite shipments. Ensure all quotes are processed accurately and in a timely manner, maintaining organized digital and physical quote files. Communicate price updates to customers when pricing changes occur. Complete end-of-day filing and maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment. Provide back-up support to the Procurement Manager, including dedicated time to learn key purchasing responsibilities.
    Qualifications Post-secondary education or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum 5 years of experience in inside sales or customer service within the pipe, valve, and fittings (PVF) industry.
    Skills and Abilities Friendly, clear communicator with a strong customer-focused and team-focused approach. Proficient with Microsoft 365, Excel, Outlook, and general computer systems. Extensive PVF product knowledge and familiarity with pipe, fittings, and related lines. Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with internal teams, customers, vendors, and external partners.
    Salary $60-70K annually + bonus and benefits

  • Mississauga Construction and Forestry Division Our client is looking for an experienced Sales Manager to lead the wholegoods department at their Mississauga Construction and Forestry branch. This is a key leadership role focused on driving sales growth, profitability, and long term customer success.
    Key Responsibilities • Achieve sales targets and profit goals for the wholegoods department • Meet asset management goals related to inventory turn, aging, and protection of company assets • Maintain the right inventory mix to support sales and market share objectives • Lead, coach, and develop the sales team to create a motivated and high performing workforce • Support long term market share goals for both the manufacturer and the organization • Monitor competitive activity and provide input on opportunities and market pressures • Assist in managing branch account receivables in partnership with internal credit and operations leaders • Complete additional duties as required
    Required Skills • Strong relationship building skills with internal teams, partners, and customers • Confident decision making in financial transactions, sales strategy, budgeting, and forecasting • Strong critical thinking, analytical ability, and sound judgment • Ability to travel as needed; a recent drivers abstract will be required
    Required Experience • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred • Minimum seven years of experience in a sales management role • Heavy equipment industry experience is strongly preferred
    Salary Range $75-85K + Bonus - $120-140K OTE
