Key Responsibilities:
Answer phones, greet visitors, respond to telephone inquiries, schedule couriers, and coordinate meeting and appointment schedules.Provide administrative support while interacting with employees, clients, and stakeholders.Screen calls, correspondence, and requests, determining priority and appropriate action.Provide administrative support to office staff by preparing briefing materials for meetings and organize relevant documents.Maintain adequate inventory of supplies and coordinating timely reordering. Draft and edit correspondence, presentations, and reports as needed.Manage confidential and sensitive information with absolute discretion.Coordinate company events and meetings, prepare agendas, and distribute materials.Take detailed minutes and track action items to ensure follow-through.Manage multiple requests simultaneously while maintaining quality and attention to detail.Support special projects related to construction and manufacturing operations.Create and maintain project documentation and filing systems.Provide support to the accounting department as needed.Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in construction, manufacturing, or related industries.Exceptional organizational skills with ability to manage competing priorities.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Demonstrated discretion handling confidential information.Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
PreferredKnowledge of construction and manufacturing terminology and business processes.Familiarity with document management systems and enterprise software.

As a Junior Estimator at Steelcon, you will be a critical contributor to our Estimating team, supporting the preparation of accurate and competitive bids across both structural steel and miscellaneous metals. Key Responsibilities
Take ownership of assigned estimates and assist on larger estimates by reviewing all bid documents and validating project scope.Accurately perform quantity take-offs for labor, equipment, and materials.Assist with preparing tender forms, generating RFIs, and coordinating proposal requirements.Analyze project documents to identify risks, assess site conditions, and recognize potential scheduling and market impacts.Look for cost-saving or strategic advantages within each estimate.Work closely with estimators, bid teams, subtrade partners, and suppliers to support bid efforts.Solicit competitive pricing from subtrade partners and suppliers and manage responses.Collaborate with estimators on bid-day activities, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.Organize, document, and archive bid information for seamless transfer to project teams.Support cost analysis and budget checks, providing valuable insights to refine estimates.Generate bid status reports and other key performance metrics to help improve estimating practices.
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.0–2 years of relevant experience in construction cost estimating or a related discipline.A foundational understanding of construction estimating processes.General familiarity with construction specifications, drawings, materials, methods, and procedures.A clear understanding of quantity takeoff, procurement, pricing, and bid-closing principles.Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and completeness in all estimates.Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subtrade partners, suppliers, and internal teams.Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.Experience with estimating software.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project).A willingness and aptitude for learning new technologies.
