Position Overview We’re looking for a dynamic, customer-focused Territory Manager to represent Stella-Jones across Home Depot locations in the Greater Vancouver area . This is an exciting, field-based and highly autonomous role for a self-motivated, high-energy professional who thrives working independently. You’ll be responsible for managing your own schedule and territory, building strong relationships, solving problems, and ensuring top-tier service. Acting as the key link between Stella-Jones and Home Depot, you’ll make sure stores are fully stocked, well merchandised, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. You’ll travel throughout your assigned territory, supported by a company vehicle and cell phone, representing a trusted Canadian brand of pressure-treated lumber . Key Responsibilities Visit and service Home Depot stores weekly within the Greater Vancouver region. Maintain consistent communication with Store Managers, Assistant Managers, and Department Associates to support strong relationships and effective collaboration. Ensure stores are fully stocked and visually merchandised according to Stella-Jones and Home Depot standards. Monitor inventory levels, identify replenishment needs, and follow up on logistics and deliveries. Lead product knowledge training sessions and presentations for store associates and local contractors. Support the Pro-Desk by promoting Stella-Jones programs and fostering strong relationships with contractors. Conduct site visits, assist with warranty claims, and participate in Home Depot events and product demos. Maintain professional, well-organized displays, signage, and promotional materials at all times. Track store performance using Excel, preparing simple charts and reports to share updates and insights. Qualifications 2–5 years of experience in sales, merchandizing, account management, or retail operations preferred. Proven ability to work independently and autonomously in a field-based role with minimal direct supervision. Strong relationship-building and communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders. Excellent organizational and time management abilities, particularly in planning store visits and service routes. Comfortable taking initiative and proactively reaching out for support or collaboration when needed. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook. Experience within the building materials or lumber industry considered an asset. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.     Position OverviewThe Plant Manager at Stella-Jones in Shelburne is responsible for managing daily plant operation functions in a safe manner to ensure production schedules and requirements are achieved on a quality, timely and cost-effective basis. This leader ensures compliance with government regulations pertaining to environmental controls, hazardous waste management and safety. This position is open due to internal movement within the company.

    Job DescriptionReporting to the Plant Director, the Production Planner and Yard Supervisor is responsible for planning and coordinating manufacturing activities to ensure deadlines are met and resources are available. Leading a team of 3 unionized employees, this role plays a key part in synchronizing production, procurement, and project management teams.
    Planning ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain the production schedule based on customer orders, plant capacity, and priorities.Analyze plans and technical drawings to determine material, labor, and equipment needs.Coordinate with the purchasing department to ensure raw materials and components are available.Monitor production progress and adjust plans in case of delays, unforeseen events, or priority changes.Optimize resource utilization (machines, personnel) to reduce downtime and improve productivity.Communicate regularly with internal teams (production, quality, shipping, maintenance, health & safety, etc.) to ensure operational consistency.Prepare tracking reports (performance indicators, deadlines, utilization rates).Participate in continuous improvement of planning and production processes.Manage subcontracting by validating material consumption and compliance in the nesting process.Implement Blue Rush plans and non-conforming nestings (NCR) on the shop floor and in planning.Ensure proper scheduling of truck deliveries in coordination with purchasing and yard operations.Ensure integration between estimates and shop floor operations.Collaborate with the estimating team to provide customers with the best possible lead times based on ongoing contracts.Design, analyze, and present key performance indicators (KPIs).Personnel Management and AdministrationTrack absenteeism (ensure absences are recorded in the system, including sick leave) and monitor punctuality.Track overtime, which must be pre-approved based on operational needs.Approve hours in the system for payroll preparation.Participate in onboarding and training of new employees according to the integration plan.Apply disciplinary measures and meet with concerned employees while respecting collective agreement rules.Participate in various operational meetings (health & safety, production meetings, RDP, Gemba, etc.).Lead/participate in workplace accident investigations in collaboration with HR and health & safety teams.Ensure accuracy and proper execution of year-end inventory processes, making necessary corrections and adjustments to guarantee data integrity.Participate in creating and monitoring master planning initiatives.Actively participate in various committees (CSS, RDP, etc.).
