  • Senior Manager RFP & Contract  

    - Richmond Hill

    This is a new and strategic role within our contracts team, supporting multi-million dollar deals across Canada.

    The Senior Manager, RFP & Contracts will serve as the operational key driver of the Strategic Operations team, overseeing all contract lifecycle management and RFP activities across Canada. This role requires a seasoned contract professional ideally with a legal administrative background who can navigate the complexities of legal terminology, regulatory frameworks and procurement processes within the healthcare and medical devices industry. The successful candidate must quickly grasp complex business concepts and effectively articulate product & service offerings to external audiences. The preferred candidate will be customer-focused and be able to successfully manage diverse facets of the RFP and Contracts process under aggressive deadlines, including coordination, writing, and interfacing with internal and external subject matter experts.

    This role is posted as remote across Canada; however, candidates located in the Greater Toronto Area are strongly preferred as the team is based in our Richmond Hill office. Candidates located within the GTA will work a hybrid schedule, currently consisting of 2 days a week in the office (Wednesday and Thursday).

    What You'll Do As a Senior Manager RFP & Contracts Contracts & Legal Operations (50%)

    Draft, review and manage diverse agreements (SOPs, SOWs, NDAs, leases) aligned to legal and business needs.

    Advise stakeholders on contract interpretation, risk, and regulatory compliance.

    Partner with legal counsel on escalations (indemnities, privacy, RCAs, marketing).

    Maintain and enhance templates, clause libraries and playbooks.

    Conduct legal research and ensure consistent, compliant documentation.

    Manage legal records and internal procedures.

    Support contract negotiations with vendors and external partners.

    Lead vision, strategy and execution of the Canadian RFP process supporting $65M+ in revenue.

    Oversee full RFP lifecycle in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Service, Compliance, Risk and Pricing.

    Shape proposal strategy, assess risks and ensure regulatory alignment.

    Maintain high‑quality RFP content through standardized templates and strong editorial processes.

    Coordinate with legal to validate contract terms and required bid documentation.

    Track and optimize RFP performance using win/loss and efficiency metrics.

    Leadership & Process Excellence (20%)

    Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing contracts and RFP team.

    Build scalable SOPs and cross‑functional workflows from intake through execution.

    Monitor KPIs, identify root causes and drive continuous improvement.

    Foster strong partnerships across Legal, Sales, Finance and Customer Service.

    The Experience, Skills, and Abilities Needed: Required:

    2+ years of People Management

    4+ years of law firm or in‑house legal

    8 +Experience with commercial contract drafting and negotiation, RFP experience, risk and compliance management, contract lifecycle management

    Preferred:

    Law degree or legal studies degree

    Verbal and written proficiency in both French and Engligh is strongly preferred

    Customer focused mindset is essential

    Ce que vous ferez en tant qu'Ingénieur(e) Électrique Axe Technique

    Exécuter les activités de génie électrique au sein du projet, incluant l’initiation, la coordination, la synchronisation et la révision.

    Préparer la documentation et les conceptions électriques pour les revues techniques.

    Appliquer les principes du génie électrique pour la sélection de solénoïdes, moteurs, vannes, instrumentation de procédé et contrôles associés requis pour les solutions de commande de machines.

    Confirmer les capacités et la qualité des systèmes et composants électriques en concevant des méthodes d’essai et en évaluant leurs propriétés.

    Diriger les conceptions électriques (suivi, analyse, résolution de problèmes), la vérification et la production de rapports.

    Intéragir avec les fournisseurs pour sélectionner les composants ou sous‑ensembles électriques conformes aux exigences et spécifications des machines.

    Coordonner les détails et les critères de conception avec les autres disciplines d’ingénierie sur un projet de développement.

    Démontrer une connaissance pratique des codes et normes applicables.

    Effectuer des investigations d'ingénierie courantes impliquant des calculs ou des essais en soutien aux produits actuels, aux nouvelles conceptions, méthodes, matériaux ou études de procédés.

    Axe Projet

    Collaborer activement en tant que membre d'équipe au sein de projets d'ingénierie.

    Travailler sous supervision générale avec peu d'instructions directes ; accomplir les tâches courantes et semi‑courantes de manière autonome.

    Diriger les revues techniques électriques en respectant les contraintes de calendrier, de coûts, de performance, de qualité et de fiabilité du projet.

    Axe Gestion

    Aucune responsabilité directe de gestion de personnel.

    Peut être appelé à diriger du personnel technique (techniciens, concepteurs).

    Expérience, compétences et aptitudes requises Exigences

    Baccalauréat en génie (ingénierie).

    Minimum de 3 ans d'expérience pertinente en ingénierie.

    Atouts

    Membre de l'Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) privilégié.

    Expérience avec l'utilisation d'outils d'ingénierie assistée par ordinateur (CAO) pour la conception, la simulation ou l'automatisation de systèmes de test.

    Connaissance d'au moins une des normes industrielles suivantes : UL, CSA, NEMA, IEC, NFPA, etc.

    Pay range for this opportunity is $108,500 - $140,000. This position is eligible for bonus participation, with an annual bonus opportunity of 15% of your fiscal year compensation, subject to the Bonus Plan’s terms and conditions.
