Known for long-term tenant relationships and hands-on property management, they are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team and support both residential and commercial buildings. The Position: The Maintenance Technician will report directly to the Operations Manager and work closely with the property management team. This role will involve day-to-day interaction with tenants across both residential and commercial properties, requiring a balance of technical know-how and polished customer service. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing preventative and demand maintenance, supporting capital projects, and ensuring all properties are maintained to the highest standards. Participation in the on-call rotation will be required, with occasional evening and weekend shifts. Responsibilities include: Perform general building maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting. Assist with the operation, inspection, and repair of base building equipment and systems, including HVAC units, pumps, fans, and other mechanical components. Conduct routine preventative maintenance tasks and ensure all systems are operating efficiently. Support the upkeep and cleanliness of common areas, mechanical rooms, and building exteriors. Track and schedule work orders, ensuring annual compliance inspections and testing are completed on time. Provide responsive and professional service to both residential tenants and commercial occupants. Assist with larger maintenance and capital improvement projects as required. Other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager. The Requirements: 2–3 years of experience in residential and/or commercial building maintenance. General maintenance skills, including plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and painting. Knowledge of HVAC systems and building operations considered an asset. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first approach. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to participate in on-call rotation and occasional weekend shifts. Why should you apply?   • Mechanical Project Manager/Estimator Brief Description An excellent opportunity for a growing Project Manager to join an established full service mechanical contractor and work with some of Vancouver most skilled PM’s and Foreman. About our client My client is an established but boutique company, that offer full mechanical services for their clients. They mainly operate within commercial and institutional buildings, however do sometimes get involved in some residential work. You will join the team of experts in the office and have a real opportunity to learn from the best. They have a collaborative approach to their projects that a lot of the big companies don’t, meaning you will work through challenges of these large scale projects as a unit and you will always feel supported as you succeed and grow as a team.   • This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills who can manage complex project schedules, budgets, and documentation from preconstruction through to final delivery. What you will be doing • Oversee day-to-day construction operations and ensure alignment with control budgets and timelines • Coordinate with consultants, clients, and site teams to keep progress on track • Support the preconstruction phase including control budget preparation and trade onboarding • Manage project documentation such as RFIs, shop drawings, change orders, and site instructions • Ensure quality, safety, and contract compliance throughout the project lifecycle What we are looking for • 6 to 8 years of experience in construction, ideally with high-rise residential projects • A degree or diploma in civil engineering or a related discipline • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders • Experience with project management tools like Procore or SharePoint • A hands-on approach with a strong understanding of construction processes and documentation This role is based in Calgary.
