What you will be doing: Lead security engagements from initiation to completion, collaborating with internal and external teams. Conduct application security services, including design reviews and penetration testing for web, mobile, and desktop applications using both automated and manual approaches. Develop and deliver security design documents and risk assessment reports. Design tailored application security solutions to meet client needs. Identify security vulnerabilities, recommend remediation strategies, and support implementation. Work closely with development teams to enhance secure coding practices. Serve as a subject matter expert in Application Security, providing mentorship and peer reviews. Support cloud infrastructure security and contribute to engagements in related security areas. Participate in industry conferences, training, and professional development. What you must have: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. 1+ years of experience in Information Security, with at least 2 years in Application Security. 2+ years of modern software development experience (API security expertise is a plus). Strong understanding of secure software design principles and development methodologies. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Golang, C#, Python, or C++. Expertise in identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities, including OWASP Top 10 and CWE Top 25 risks. Experience with security analysis tools (static, dynamic, black-box, and white-box testing). Knowledge of secure authentication and authorization protocols (OAuth, OpenID, SAML). Demonstrated contributions to the security community (e.g., research, presentations, open-source projects, bug bounties). Excellent communication and presentation abilities, including executive-level engagement.
