Location: Markham, ON ( 4 days onsite per week )
Contract Term: 6 months to start
We’re hiring an experienced ETL Tester to support a large-scale billing migration program for a client in Markham, Ontario. This is a 6-month contract with potential for extension. The ideal candidate will have strong ETL testing expertise and a working knowledge of automation tools to support test case automation and repetitive task handling.
Key Responsibilities
Perform ETL testing to validate data pipelines and ensure data integrity throughout the billing migration process
Work with SSIS and other ETL tools to validate data transformations and migrations
Collaborate with QA and development teams to build and execute test plans
Support the development of automation frameworks and test suites
Assist in tool selection, framework architecture, and QA environment setup
Contribute to the team’s goal of achieving 60% automation coverage by year-end
Use Selenium and Java to automate test cases and repetitive QA tasks as needed
Required Skills
Strong experience in ETL testing, including data validation and migration testing
Hands-on experience with SSIS and SQL for data verification
Working knowledge of Selenium and Java for test automation
Familiarity with REST API testing
Excellent communication skills and the ability to ask the right questions to clarify business requirements
Nice to Have
Experience in framework design and architecture
Exposure to WinAppDriver or similar desktop automation tools

Opportunity Description
The Integration and Data Warehouse Team requires one (1) Integration Analyst - Senior resource for multiple new and ongoing TIBCO initiatives as part of the 2026 Reuse Integration Development project. The successful consultant will be working in the capacity of an Analyst/Developer for the analysis, development, and conversion of existing and new integrations.
Background
Ongoing project work requires an Integration Analyst/Developer resource for a variety of integration work. Dedicated resource will be tasked to undertake requirements gathering, architecture design, development, test and deploy integration streams as per project requirements, schedules and priorities. This government client of TEKsystems has a mature TIBCO governance model and utilizes a defined framework for its TIBCO Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) development needs. The government organization currently uses TIBCO BW versions 5.x and 6.x for our enterprise integration solution delivery.
Project Scope and Objectives
Develop new integrations, enhance existing integrations while adhering to a defined development framework and governance model.
Support Client project integration needs by aligning project requirements to the delivered integration solution.
Ensure delivered solutions are designed, developed and deployed according to the government organization's standards.
Deliverables
Build, enhance, deploy and test integration streams in accordance to defined governance model.
Adherence to software development best practices in accord to the government organization's IT’s development community.
Create or update support documentation and project deliverables.
Provide guidance and knowledge transfer to other government Enterprise Integration teams.
Mandatory Qualifications
Recent experience in the last 7 years developing TIBCO integration solutions.
Gathering requirements, analysis and design of TIBCO services (5+ years experience).
Developing, testing, and deploying REST services in TIBCO BW version 6.x (5+ years experience).
Developing batch processes in both TIBCO BW6.X & BW5.X (5+ years experience).
Background in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) & REST services (5+ years experience).
Experience in JAVA, XML & JSON (5+ years experience).
Experience with Oracle or other relational databases (5+ years experience).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in multi-tiered environments.
Utilization of Team Foundation Server (TFS) / GIT.
Development experience in .Net.
Experience with HP Quality Centre suite of test tools.
