    The Riley Divorce & Family Law Firm is a growing boutique firm dedicated exclusively to family law. We are seeking a Family Law Associate to join our collaborative and supportive team in a remote role, with occasional travel to courthouses as required.
    What You’ll DoManaging client cases and provide legal representationWorks in partnership with law clerks to ensure efficient case preparation and high-quality client serviceAdvise clients on separation, divorce, parenting, and support mattersDraft pleadings, agreements, and related legal documentsRepresent clients in negotiations, mediations, and court appearancesMaintain a target of 25 billable hours per weekStay current with Nova Scotia family law legislation and best practices
    What We’re Looking ForMember in good standing with the Nova Scotia Barristers’ SocietyIdeally 1–5 years of family law or related litigation experienceStrong advocacy, communication, and organizational skillsWork independently in a remote environmentAbility to travel for in-person courthouse appearances as neededProficiency with legal practice management software
