Process end to end bi-weekly, hourly, and salaried payrolls using Workday in accordance with current federal and provincial regulations and best practices at a publicly traded company Within the Workday payroll module, ensure accurate processing of new hires, terminations, ROEs, changes to pay and any other ad hoc requests Provide Workday support within payroll team Address employee inquiries relating to their payroll profile enrollment and pay breakdown Track paid time off entitlements in Workday Reconciles payroll accounts monthly in accordance with financial close schedule Prepare journal entries in a timely manner after each pay cycle Process reconciliation of benefit invoices to payroll deductions and submit for payment Provide timely response to inquiries from HR, Finance, managers, employees, government, and other third-party agencies Build and utilize reporting and other features in Workday in the preparation and review of all year-end T4s across multiple provinces Act as liaison for internal and external audit requests and requests for financial information that pertain to payroll Continually optimize payroll processes across the business Willingness to assist and support the Finance team with other assigned finance related duties
