Our client is now seeking to add a highly skilled mid-level Corporate Associate to their vibrant Corporate Department in their Vancouver office. In this role, you will work on a broad range of domestic and cross-border transactions, including: Public and private mergers, acquisitions, and dispositions Financing transactions, including public offerings of securities Compliance with corporate and securities regulatory requirements relating to stock exchange listings, corporate governance, continuous disclosure obligations, and shareholders’ meetings Private equity and growth equity investments Private and public market exposure Joint ventures and complex corporate reorganizations General corporate law matters across a variety of industries Qualifications and Attributes The successful candidate will have 2–6 (2024 - 2020 Call) years of post-call private practice experience in general corporate law, inclusive of capital markets experience and M&A with a national, regional, or highly reputable corporate law boutique. Transactional Expertise: Proven ability to represent issuers, underwriters, and shareholders in domestic and cross-border public offerings and private placements of debt, equity, and structured finance products. Public M&A Proficiency: Experience with public M&A transactions, including take-over bids, plans of arrangement, and corporate reorganizations.     Mid‑Level Insurance Defence Associate We’re looking for a skilled and confident mid‑level Insurance Defence Associate to join our client’s exceptional team of experts in Calgary. This role offers the chance to work on high‑stakes cases and enhance your legal expertise in a supportive and collaborative environment.

    Your Responsibilities Will Include:

    Providing legal analysis and advice in insurance defence and coverage

    Conducting thorough research and delivering insightful analysis

    Drafting pleadings, motion materials, and mediation briefs

    Communicating effectively with clients and opposing counsel

    Preparing for and attending discoveries and mediations

    Representing clients in court for motions and hearings
