  • Our Transmission group is currently looking to add a Project Manager to our growing team, based in Winnipeg, MB. Reporting to the Vice President, Transmission Operations, we are seeking an experienced leader who has knowledge and experience in planning, executing, and delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves managing cross‑functional teams, coordinating with external stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

    Please Note: This position requires on‑site presence up to 75% of the time, including the possibility of extended shifts at various sites across Canada.

    Duties And Responsibilities

    Oversee and manage projects from concept to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget

    Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs, quality, and lead times

    Develop and implement project strategies and objectives

    Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop and execute projects

    Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance management to project team members

    Negotiate contracts with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to secure favorable terms and conditions

    Manage procurement processes and maintain strong vendor relationships

    Resolve any construction‑related issues and make timely decisions to keep projects on track

    Report regularly on project financial performance to senior management

    Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, regulatory agencies, and partners

    Ensure effective communication and collaboration among all project stakeholders

    Requirements

    Post‑Secondary education in a related field

    10 years of proven Project Management experience leading Linear Construction Projects

    Demonstrated experience with high voltage Powerline Transmission projects up to 500 kV

    Demonstrated process standardization / improvement experience

    Experience in Business Development

    Preferred Skills / Qualifications

    Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

    Experience working in multiple regulatory jurisdictions across Canada

    to our growing team, based in Greater Toronto Area of Ontario. Reporting to the Project Manager, we are seeking a Senior Project Engineer to support ongoing EPC projects, ensuring the delivery of cost‑effective designs and procurement while providing engineering support throughout the construction lifecycle. This position serves as the primary technical point of contact for clients and internal teams and is responsible for identifying and resolving technical issues, reviewing specifications, drawings, and test reports to uphold quality design standards, generating non‑compliance reports (NCRs) as required, and ensuring all project documentation is completed accurately and on time.

    Please note: this position will be required to travel up to 25% of the time.

    Duties And Responsibilities

    Act as liaison and technical resource for all construction personnel on the project

    Benefits This position offers a base salary range of

    Reporting to the Director of IT, we are seeking an experienced and technically grounded software engineer to take on a senior leadership role responsible for the execution, stabilization, and modernization of Valard's custom application portfolio and integration layer across SaaS and COTS platforms.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Lead day‑to‑day execution across Valard's custom applications, including CM/PM/Quality Management platforms, Time and Data Capture systems, HCM platforms, SharePoint, and Power Platform

    Provide technical leadership across integration, stabilization, modernization, and sustainment initiatives, acting as the primary escalation point for complex application and integration issues

  • Our Substations group is currently looking to add Electrical Supervisors / Foremen , to support Battery Energy Storage System Construction projects in the Elora and Jarvis areas on Ontario. Reporting to the Site Supervisor, these positions will oversee on-site construction activities and lead on-site crew while ensuring project construction is executed effectively and safely. They are also responsible for tracking any changes or field issues as they arise and will be the main point of contact for the Field staff/crew. The current work schedule is Monday - Friday; 10 hours / day with the potential for more OT. These projects are for unionized worksites and successful candidates must be members (or willing to join) the Canadian Union of Skilled Workers (CUSW).
