Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Apartment Cleaner to prepare vacant rental units for new tenants and assist with cleaning common areas as needed. This role plays a key part in ensuring suites are move-in ready and buildings are clean, well-maintained, and welcoming.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform full cleanings of vacant apartment units, including:
- Kitchens (appliances inside and out, cupboards, countertops, sinks)
- Bathrooms (toilets, tubs/showers, sinks, mirrors, fixtures)
- Floors (vacuuming, mopping, spot cleaning)
- Baseboards, doors, walls (spot cleaning), closets, and windowsills
- Ensure suites meet move-in ready standards and company checklists
Assist with cleaning common areas when required, including:
- Lobbies, hallways, stairwells, elevators, and laundry rooms
- Remove garbage and debris from units and common areas
- Safely use and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment
- Work efficiently to meet turnover timelines and leasing schedules
Qualifications & Requirements:
Previous apartment, residential, or commercial cleaning experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Physically able to lift up to 40 lbs and perform repetitive cleaning tasks
Reliable transportation between buildings is an asset
Reliable, punctual, and professional
Knowledge of proper cleaning products and techniques is an asset
Schedule & Work Environment:
- Daytime hours, with flexibility based on suite turnover needs
- Work across multiple apartment buildings
- Indoor work with occasional outdoor tasks (garbage rooms, entrances)
