    Job Description As a member of the software team in Bach‑Simpson, you will report to the Software Manager. You will be responsible for maintaining existing and architecting and implementing new software solutions across a range of technologies including embedded Linux and PC software.

    Required Qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a closely related field

    Responsibilities

    Working with other engineers to bring new products from prototype to production

    Design and verify electrical circuits, schematics, PCB, hardware fixture, test jigs

    Create accurate BOMs, Test Instructions, Assembly and Wiring Instructions.

    Create detailed design documentation and estimate time to complete tasks

    Coordinate third‑party inspection for NDE and compliance;

    Coordinate customer inspection of product when required;

    Create and submit ITP Inspection Test Plans to customers to ensure products are built to specification;

    Manage and control on‑hold inventory;

    Ensure traceability and identification of materials, assisting suppliers with compliance;

    Issue and oversee Non‑Conformance reporting and work closely with Design on any issue or improvement;

    Perform supplier and internal audits when required;

    Prepare all QA documentation for each job completed;

    Review job packages to ensure all requirements can be met;

    Review and update inspection cards;

    Maintain calibration requirements;

    Analyze PPM KPIs and implement systematic solutions for negative trends;

    Complete Corrective Action Reports as assigned (5Y or 8D).
