Position Summary
As a Pollination Laborer, you’ll be part of a hands-on team helping to ensure successful crop pollination. You’ll work closely with supervisors and other team members in the field, handling bees, shelters and bee equipment with attention to detail and safety.
Main Duties
• Assist with shelter setup and maintenance of pollination areas and bee hives
• Bee incubation and placement
• Shelter removal
• Hive re-stacking and inventory record
• Follow safety and hygiene standards at all times
What We’re Looking For
• Hard-working, dependable, and able to work outdoors in varying weather
• Team player with good communication and attitude
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions
• Valid driver’s license or experience in farm works an asset
• Experience with bees, crops, or agriculture preferred, but training provided
