    Supplier Quality Specialist Wonderbrands – a leading Canadian bakery with 140 years of experience – is seeking a Supplier Quality Specialist located in Etobicoke, Ontario. This full‑time, entry level position reports to the Manager, Food Safety and Quality Audit. Overview
    As a Supplier Quality Specialist, you will oversee Wonderbrands’ food safety and approval program for all new and existing packaging and ingredient suppliers. Working closely with Research & Development, Sourcing, and Quality Assurance teams, you will ensure that all suppliers meet Wonderbrands Food Safety requirements and that all paperwork and audits are current.     Communicate food safety and quality requirements to all new and existing suppliers of packaging, ingredients, and service providers. Assess supplier paperwork and validate risks associated with new materials. Upload supplier information into SAP and other tools, and maintain required documentation for contract service providers. Update food safety documents and records when new materials or changes occur. Assist the Quality Assurance department with on‑site supplier visits for higher‑risk suppliers when approval is required. Validate existing supplier paperwork and document it internally for other teams. Communicate new material approvals and changes to all departments as required. Obtain all necessary knowledge and training in supplier food safety and risk assessment to stay current on industry requirements. Maintain supplier paperwork and audits in a timely manner to ensure compliance with BRC audits and Wonderbrands Food Safety programs. Assist the Quality Assurance department on all audits (BRC, Halal, RSPO, Organic, etc.). Participate in cross‑functional teams in the development of new supplier approval requests. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications
    Post‑secondary education in a relevant field. 2–3 years of experience in food safety, including strong knowledge of BRC, HACCP programs, GMP programs, and QA systems. Experience in supplier evaluation and analysis specific to the food industry. Exceptional communication skills and ability to serve as liaison between cross‑functional internal and external teams. Proven organizational skills, prioritization, and teamwork; strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and attention to detail. Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Blackbox, SAP).
