    Job Title: Estimating/Bidding AdvisorOn-site/ Remote/ Hybrid: Onsite Location: Hamilton, ON Job Type: Permanent Salary: $85,000 - $100,000 annually
    Responsibilities:
    Lead a team of junior estimators - delegate tasks and review workReview RFQ documents for risks and opportunitiesDevelop BOM's Labour hour estimates and subcontractor scopes and pricing Liaise with cross-functional departments (engineering, procurement, operations, finance) to develop estimatesReview subcontractor and material quotes for accuracy and completeness (risks and opportunities) Support operations with change order quotations (as requested) Develop preliminary project schedules with cross-functional teams (HR, Operations, planning, etc.)Generate and submit proposals and manage proposal deliverables
    Requirements:
    Background in ship repair, shipbuilding, heavy marine, or offshore O&GDemonstrate experience in dry docking projects, steel renewals, machinery installation and overhaul, complex refitsFoundation in marine engineering or naval architecture Advanced Excel workforce & cost modelling Business Central or equivalent ERP systems Strong understanding of steel grades, marine coatings, propulsion systems, and electrical systems AutoCADStrong understanding of class, PSPC, CCG, and DND requirements

    Job Title: Junior Naval Architect On-site/ Remote/ Hybrid: Onsite Location: Stoney Creek, ON Job Type: Permanent
    Responsibilities:Assist with Scope DefinitionAble to read and interpret class and flag state rules and regulations.Concept design for interior and exterior of a vessel.Inclining and Stability Booklets.Performance analysis for power and sail boats.Structural Design and Engineering to regulatory rules in Composite, Steel and Aluminium.Systems design and engineering.Interior layout design.Production design and construction drawings.Production support for CNC operations.CFD analysis (post training).3D Laser scanning surveys (post training).
    Requirements:Bachelor of Engineering in Naval ArchitectureDeliver projects in a timely manner.Support the client with their project to the best of their ability.Be a strong team player that can help themselves and their teammates achieve success within a project.Help be part of the growth of the company and represent them at events.Someone who is continually looking to improve their knowledge and sharpen their skillsKnowledge of AutoCAD, Rhino, Autodesk PDM Collection including Recap, Inventor, Fusion 360, Microsoft SuiteKnowledge of MaxSurf considered an Asset.
