    The Director, Real Estate is responsible for leading and overseeing all new store leasing functions for all Recipe Unlimited brands in the respective territory across Canada. In this role, you will also deliver on the strategic retail growth plans for all brands to meet business objectives.
    What you will do in this role:
    Prepare and present executive presentations of all Real Estate Proposals/Deals in the respective territory. This includes, but not limited to; preparing letters of intent/proposals prior to Real Estate Committee approvals. Coordinate with brand leads, construction, legal, market planning and finance for required supporting documentation and economics for these submissions. Evaluate markets with brands and market planning and develop strategic growth plans for their respective territories for market prioritization and implementation. Perform market analysis of all potential sites and manage site selection process, using business management tools such as Sitewise and Smartsheet. Provide strategic direction on required relocations, expansions, etc. to enhance the growth portfolio in the respective territory. Inform the company of competitive and unique marketplace/retail characteristics by specific regions that are of value to the company. Deliver on the strategic objectives for new store growth. Negotiate terms and conditions in the respective territory for all term sheets, letters of intent, leases, and lease amending agreements, working closely with the legal, design, and construction teams. Collaborate with both external and internal cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are opened on time and on budget. Manage all new store real estate initiatives including leasing processes. Maintain a pipeline of future business opportunities in the respective territory to ensure that we are on target to meet growth plans over the next several years. Build strong partnerships with shopping centre developers and landlords throughout Canada to obtain relevant and timely information on their sites and promote Recipe brands. Ensure that we are the first call for new store opportunities. Ensure that all existing store real estate related issues are investigated and resolved with a sense of urgency and commitment as required. Provide solutions in a timely fashion to our franchise partners as well as corporate General Managers. Provide Disposition support by liaising with the Real Estate Managers who are negotiating with landlords to get underperforming assets via lease buyouts to minimize Recipe’s financial exposure. Coach and mentor direct reports on their markets, deals, process improvements and development. Work on special projects as required.
    What we are looking for from you:
    Business Degree in business administration, real estate, or accounting At least 10 years of experience in a related field. Working knowledge of retail commercial real estate, business law, retail financing and accounting principles Property Management Experience Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.     We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and highly organized Leasing Coordinator to support our portfolio management team in overseeing and optimizing the performance of our commercial/restaurant real estate assets. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and gain valuable experience in the commercial real estate industry.
    What you will do in this role:
    Review lease agreements and determine Tenant/Landlord responsibilities and obligations for repairs, maintenance and other lease provisions Support the management of a portfolio of corporate and franchised restaurant locations, including lease administration, renewals, and property performance tracking Coordinate with restaurant managers and franchisees, with a sense of urgency on issues, and disputes with landlords to provide timely solutions Coordinate and track lease dates and critical lease terms Serve as a liaison between the real estate team, franchisees, and property owners. Address tenant inquiries, maintenance concerns, and ensure that all parties adhere to lease agreements Draft and send out lease renewal notice letters Coordinate all Estoppel Certificate requests from landlords with legal, operations, construction in preparation for execution Collaborate with the operations team to ensure that restaurant properties are well-maintained, compliant with local regulations, and align with brand standards Advise franchisees and Senior Management of any default notices received by the landlord Assist the Portfolio Management team on any ad hoc reports and data pulls for the various restaurant brands Cross train on corporate restaurant business and liquor license applications for new locations and transfers. Provide guidance to franchisees on their applications
    What we are looking for from you:
    College/Bachelor’s degree in Property Management/Business Administration/Real Estate, or a related field 2-3 years experience with a commercial landlord or tenant dealing with the interpretation of a commercial lease 2-3 years of experience in commercial real estate, portfolio management, or property management, preferably within the restaurant, retail, or franchising sectors Familiarity with restaurant real estate needs and the unique requirements of corporate and franchised locations Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).     Under the direction of the Head, Talent Attraction, the Talent Attraction Specialist will lead the full cycle recruitment process of sourcing and recruiting talent for job openings across the organization including home office and field. The TA specialist will also be involved in executing recruitment initiatives and programs for Recipe including, employer branding strategies, campus, metric reporting, and administrative duties as required. As a TA Specialist, you will assist and support Recipe’s People mandate and complete tasks and objectives throughout the year.     What you will be doing in this role:

    The IT Analyst, Quality Assurance will be responsible for creating an end-to-end test plan for Recipe’s eCommerce apps and websites. executing the plan and managing all activities in the plan to ensure that all the objectives are met and that the solution works as expected. The solution should be tested in terms of functionality, performance, reliability, stability and compatibility with external systems.

    The Construction Project Manager is responsible for planning, directing, managing and providing oversight of assigned renovations projects to ensure that Recipe goals and objectives are accomplished within prescribed schedule and budget parameters. Effectively communicating with internal stakeholders, consultants, Landlords, technical staff, contractors and management. Provides internal and external coordination and collaboration with project partners and stakeholders. This position will assist in the management of key initiatives and projects. The position requires considerable judgment and latitude in performing job duties, and is expected to function effectively with minimal to moderate direct supervision.
    What you will do in this role:
    • Coordinating major renovations, and conversion projects for Recipe branded restaurant concepts • Managing general contractors, consultants, vendors, and suppliers • Ensuring projects are delivered on time and on budget, ensure that proper invoice and cost tracking is maintained throughout the life cycle of the project • Ensuring engineering, architectural, and design activities are completed accurately and in a timely manner • Developing a construction schedule and accurate budget for each construction project • Manage building permits and site approvals process, coordination with Landlord in delivery of base building and/or building pad • Manage the tendering process, analysis and recommendation • Coordinating equipment delivery and construction schedules • Establishing and monitoring of budgets and adherence of variance controls • Managing site communications and issue resolution. Major strengths will be around communications to key internal and external stakeholders • Overseeing construction and conducting periodic site inspections to ensure quality, timing, and adherence to standards • Liaising with various internal contacts including Design and Construction, Restaurant Operations, Supply Chain, Real Estate, Franchising, and Legal Departments to ensure projects are completed as per plan. Liaising with Franchisee’s through the construction process • Managing day-to-day work on projects in construction phases; coordinate and make recommendations regarding status of work
    What we are looking for from you:
    • Technical degree in the construction field (i.e. P.Eng, CET, B.
