Aperçu du poste Nous sommes à la recherche d’un Électrotechnicien à notre centre de données de Montréal, qui sait reconnaître le service de première qualité et qui peut concrétiser ce concept. Cette personne joue un rôle primordial dans notre équipe, qui dirige des centres de données parmi les plus efficaces et rentables de l’industrie. Pour combler ce poste avec succès, vous devez collaborer avec les électriciens, techniciens et frigoristes qui effectuent les travaux d’entretien et de réparation de notre infrastructure pour centres de données. Nous avons à cœur de répondre aux exigences de disponibilité de nos clients et maintenons de très hautes normes dans nos installations afin d’assurer à la clientèle un service ininterrompu. Responsabilités
Utiliser les systèmes critiques (UPS, PDU, génératrices diesel, équipement de transfert automatique, contrôle des bâtiments, refroidisseurs, unités de traitement d’air des salles informatiques, etc.) et effectuer leur entretien et leurs réparations Produire des rapports de fiabilité pour atteindre les objectifs de capacité et le taux de disponibilité de 100 %, et les maintenir Coordonner et surveiller le travail des fournisseurs de services de maintenance afin d’assurer la sécurité du personnel, de protéger l’équipement critique des installations et de maintenir l’alimentation de la charge critique Créer les méthodes de travail, les procédures normalisées d’exploitation et les procédures d’urgence nécessaires auxquelles toutes les activités de maintenance devront se conformer
Exigences de l’emploi

Site Operations Department The Site Operations Department is responsible for the overall health of all mechanical and electrical systems, building maintenance, and performance of all data modules in our data centers. The team is staffed 24 x 7 onsite with Critical Facility Technicians (CFTs) on each shift. This team is the face of Vantage to our customers and the first line of defense regarding the uptime of our campus as well as the performance of our customer installations. Using a Critical Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to plan and track work needed, the Site Operations department performs all preventative and corrective maintenance. This is a team that does most of the actual work versus calling upon vendors. As a result, we provide superior service that is faster and more cost effective. Position Overview We are looking for a HVAC Technician, NA for our data center in Montreal (Pointe-Claire) who knows what best-in-class service looks like and can make that a reality. This role is an important member of our facilities team where we manage some of the most efficient and cost-effective data center facilities in the industry. The successful candidate for this role will work with a team of other electrical and mechanical-focused engineers performing maintenance and repair for our data center infrastructure. We take our customer requirements for uptime seriously and keep our facilities maintained to a very high standard to ensure uninterrupted service for our customers. Job Requirements Practical experience of at least three years, preferably five, in maintenance and repair of industrial electrical and mechanical systems, such as emergency units (generators, fuel distribution, paralleling cabinets), electrical distribution devices (medium voltage/low voltage switchgear and related controls), UPS, HVAC systems, air handlers, computer room cooling systems, and building monitoring and control systems.Demonstrate knowledge in operating, maintaining, repairing, inspecting, and testing critical electrical distribution systems, HVAC systems and building management/automation equipment.Ability to read electrical and mechanical engineering plans as well as building architecture and to understand connections and single-line diagrams.Knowledge of common concepts, practices and processes related to mechanical and electrical systems required to operate data centers.Experience and skills in technical writing, as well as creating, coordinating, updating and modifying work methods, standard operating procedures and emergency procedures for critical installations, including support of new systems and research of technical requirements.Professional experience in the electrical or mechanical sector (highly desired), focused on technical skills and training, with the intention of obtaining a license within a reasonable time frame.Willingness to follow official training if necessary, in a field of specialization, such as maintenance of UPS systems.Candidates must possess reliable transportation for reporting to work for shifts, or emergencies.Ability to travel occasionally for training purposes (less than 5% of total time).Potential employees must complete a background check successfully.Proven skills in the use of Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word and Excel) and automatic building control systems.Good oral and written skills in French and English preferably.
