Crafting high-quality beverages: Prepare espresso drinks, drip coffee, teas, and other specialty drinks to perfection. You'll be responsible for creating consistent and delicious drinks within each order. Managing cash and transactions: Accurately process orders and payments, handling cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment. Maintaining a clean and organized workspace: Ensure all café areas are clean, tidy, and stocked, so customers always receive service in a welcoming environment. Supporting the team: Work closely with fellow baristas to keep the café running smoothly. This includes assisting with restocking, cleaning, and other general café duties as needed. Engaging with customers: Build rapport with frequent customers, suggest new beverages, and share your love of coffee with others. What skills and experience do you need for this job?: Basic barista experience: While prior experience is a plus, it's not required. We're happy to train motivated individuals who are passionate about coffee and eager to learn. Customer service skills: A friendly and approachable demeanor, with the ability to communicate effectively and provide a high level of service. Attention to detail: Precision in brewing, making drinks, and ensuring customer orders are accurate. Multitasking ability: The café can get busy, so the ability to stay calm under pressure and juggle multiple tasks at once is essential. Teamwork: You'll be working closely with other baristas and staff members, so being a team player and helping out where needed is important. Positive attitude and passion for coffee: A love for coffee and a commitment to making customers' days better with every cup.
