Position overview We have a permanent, full-time opportunity for a Senior Planner in the Facilities Maintenance Department. Reporting to the Manager, Planning and Scheduling, the successful candidate will provide equipment and facility capability, reliability and availability to the traveling public, tenants, business partners, government agencies, and internal and external stakeholders by planning and scheduling preventative and corrective maintenance of all assets. Key responsibilities include: Preparing weekly crew block work order scheduling and kitting of parts and materials Meeting regularly with Supervisors to review, discuss and reach consensus on crew block work order schedules. Communicating with Operations to request gate and bridge closures, as required. Meeting with Maintenance Planners and Manager, Planning and Scheduling daily to review, discuss and action notes. Receiving turnover packages from Engineering and other departmental Project Managers, ensuring the quality of information transitioned and that new assets, job plan, preventive maintenance records and warranty information is accurately entered into the CMMS Preparing monthly budget forecast and accrual reports Training all Maintenance users on the proper use of Maximo Serving as a mentor and guide to the Maintenance Planners Providing Skynet Timecard support for all MTE department. Working with Crew Manager in resource planning. Key qualifications include: At least five years’ experience planning, inspecting, and evaluating preventative/repair maintenance needs of complex equipment and facilities, supplemented by the completion of a college certificate or diploma in engineering, technology, business or a related field; or an equivalent combination of training and experience Proven experience analyzing complex problems, evaluating alternatives and recommending effective courses of action, as well as developing and promoting work standards and processes Extensive knowledge of the principles and methods of effective maintenance planning and scheduling Expert level knowledge of: Core modules of Maximo (i.e., Work Order Tracking, Assets, Job Plans, Preventive Maintenance) BI Reporting Tools (e.g., AIRS) for budgeting and accrual reports MS Office (especially Excel) Building and managing schedules and shift change notices in Kronos Well-developed interpersonal skills as this role works proactively and respectfully with various internal and external stakeholders Class 5 provincial driver’s license This position is open to both Vancouver Airport Authority employees and external applicants. Position overview Reporting to the Manager of Technology Service and Cyber Security, the Information Security Specialis t will be responsible for establishing procedures, standards, and controls to support IT security, audit, and availability in alignment with the IT security policy. The specialist would be responsible to ensure that current technology not only meets but also exceeds the policies approved by YVR. Key responsibilities include: Measuring and optimizing application and infrastructure performance, leading recovery actions after system failures. Overseeing server, storage, network, security, and monitoring hardware, software, and services, ensuring they are optimized for availability, stability, integrity, performance, and scalability. Designing and creating system flags, such as algorithms for detecting security issues, and ensuring they are configured and operating correctly. Developing and implementing IT system security plans, projects, and initiatives. Ensuring backups are performed regularly and auditing the backup process to verify compliance with defined policies and procedures. Developing and improving the Incident Response policy and process. Planning and executing Threat and Risk Assessments of enterprise IT systems (both internal and external) and providing recommendations for mitigating risks. Key qualifications include: 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity, supported by a degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Must hold certification in one or more of the following: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Information Systems Professional (ISP) , Project Management Professional (PMP) CompTIA Security+ CompTIA CySA+ Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
