    Orca Lelum, an Indigenous-led wellness center for youth, is seeking proposals from qualified candidates for the position of Medical Director. Orca Lelum provides a 10-week live-in wellness program and medically supervised withdrawal support. Our center is dedicated to holistic, trauma-informed, and culturally rooted care for Indigenous youth (ages 12-18) who are navigating substance use challenges and healing from trauma.

    Our approach is guided by Snuwuyulh (traditional teachings), the 4 posts of the longhouse (mind, body, spirit, and heart), and the Canoe Model, which emphasizes unity, resilience, and collaborative healing.

    II. Scope of Work & Deliverables

    The Medical Director will report to the Clinical Lead and be responsible for the following key deliverables:

    Program Development & Clinical Leadership
    Serve as the Medical Director for Orca Lelum, providing leadership in program development and planning activities. This includes participation in working groups and contributing to the completion of clinical program development focused on Indigenous youth.
    Oversight and Mentorship of Clinical Staff
    Provide ongoing oversight and mentorship to the clinical staff, ensuring that all team members are well-equipped to deliver high-quality care in alignment with Orca Lelum's values and goals.
    Medical Review, Approval, and Consultation
    Review, approve, and provide consultation on the following clinical areas:

    PRINCIPALES RESPONSABILITÉS

    • S'assurer que l'équipement associé à la STEUI fonctionne conformément aux critères établis, permettant ainsi à l'installation de fonctionner de manière sécuritaire et satisfaisante dans les limites de rejet stipulées par les autorités fédérales, provinciales et municipales et conformément à leurs règlements applicables.
    • Respecter toutes les procédures établies pour le fonctionnement sécuritaire et adéquat de la STEUI.
    • Maintenir les niveaux de stock requis de produits chimiques nécessaires au fonctionnement de la STEUI.
    • Effectuer l'entretien courant et coordonner toutes les réparations majeures avec le service de maintenance et des installations. Cela comprend l'entretien des épurateurs au besoin.
    • S'assurer que la zone de stockage des déchets composés (à l'arrière de la zone des concentrés de la STEUI est propre et bien entretenue. En collaboration avec le service de maintenance, s'assurer de l'élimination adéquate et sécuritaire des déchets générés par les ateliers des cycles I et II, ainsi que des boues produites par la STEUI.
    • Assister et guider les opérateurs de lignes de traitement concernant la propreté des cuves de rinçage et le maintien du niveau des cuves de traitement, conformément aux procédures établies.
    • Tenir un registre quotidien des événements, des dépannages et de tout autre incident susceptible d'affecter le fonctionnement de l'installation. Les problèmes et incidents majeurs doivent être signalés à la direction de l'installation, au laboratoire et au service SSE, qui détermineront si des mesures ou des rapports supplémentaires sont nécessaires.
    • Participer aux analyses par voie humide, sous la supervision de la direction de l'installation, du laboratoire ou du service HSE, et les réaliser afin de garantir le bon fonctionnement de la STEUI.
    • Contribuer à la mise en œuvre et à la modification des cuves et de leur agencement en fonction du fonctionnement de la STEUI.
    • Préparer et compiler les données relatives au fonctionnement de l'installation, aux résultats des rejets de déchets, à la consommation de produits chimiques de traitement, à la production de boues et aux besoins de maintenance des équipements.
    • Assister et guider les prestataires externes lors de l'enlèvement des déchets des installations de traitement et de la STEUI afin de limiter les risques de confusion, d'incidents SSE et d'erreurs de manipulation de produits chimiques.
    • Apporter son soutien aux équipes d'intervention d'urgence, au service SSE, aux sous-traitants et au service de maintenance lors d'incidents environnementaux ou d'évacuations d'ateliers de traitement.
    • Effectuer d'autres tâches connexes à l'appui du laboratoire, de la supervision opérationnelle des nouveaux démarrages ou des entrepreneurs (Ex Tekno ou autres) afin de garantir que le personnel travaille dans le cadre de la structure requise des installations pour atteindre la conformité requise.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Diplôme d'études secondaires + 5 ans d'expérience pertinente ou une combinaison d'études et d'expérience.
    • Un diplôme d'études professionnelles (DEP), une attestation d'études collégiales (AEC) ou un diplôme d'études collégiales (DEC) dans un domaine connexe est considéré comme un atout.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Ensures that the equipment associated with the IWWTF functions and performs to established criteria, enabling the facility to operate safely and satisfactorily within the stipulated discharge limits established by the Federal, provincial and municipal authorities and in accordance with their applicable regulations.
    • Adhere to all established procedures for the safe and proper operation of the IWWTF.
    • Maintains required inventory levels of chemicals needed to run the IWWTF
    • Perform light maintenance and coordinate all major repairs with the maintenance and facilities department. This includes scrubbers' maintenance as required.
    • Ensure the waste compound storage area (back of IWWTF concentrates area) is clean and properly maintained. In conjunction with the maintenance department ensure the proper and safe removal of waste generated by the cycles I and II shops along with the sludge generated by the IWWTF.
    • Assist and guide the process line operators with rinse tank cleanliness and process tanks level maintenance in accordance with established procedures
    • Maintain a daily log of events, troubleshooting, and all other occurrences which may be pertinent to facility operations. Major problems and incidents shall be reported to the facility, laboratory and HSE management who will ascertain if further actions or reporting is required.
    • Assist and carries wet analysis under the facility, laboratory or HSE supervision which are related to the proper functioning of the IWWTF.
    • Assists in implementing and modifying tanks and tank layouts in relation to the IWWTF operations.
    • Prepares and compiles data on the functioning of the facility, waste discharge results, treatment chemical usages, sludge generation, and equipment maintenance requirements.
    • Assist and guide external contractors during waste removal from process and IWWTF facilities to reduce and eliminate confusion, reduce and eliminate the likelihood of HSE incidents and removal of wrong chemicals.
    • Assist ERT, HSE, sub-contractors, and maintenance during environmental event or process shop evacuations.
    • Perform other related duties in support of laboratory, operational supervision of new starts or contractors (Ex Tekno or others) to ensure workforce perform within the required structure of the facilities to achieve the required compliance.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Highschool degree + 5 years of pertinent experience or a combination of education and experience
    • Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS)/Attestation of College Studies (ACS)/Diploma of College Studies (DCS) in related field is considered and asset
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
    • Language: Fluency in French and English, written and spoken
    • Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada

    SKILLS
    • Waste water facility treatment operation.

    Key Accountabilities:
    Prepare or assist in the preparation of method planning documents for the purpose of modification, repair, inspection, and conforming engine components, including the SAP operation sequencing.
    Evaluate and action operational queries following the specification of OEM manuals within the agreed SLAs.
    Prepare work instructions and assist manufacturing engineers during repair planning change and control.
    Supports Business Improvement activities.
    Supports external sales by creating all the documentation required to induct and repair components.

    Basic Requirements

    Principales responsabilités:

    Key Accountabilities:
    Be the technical 'engine owner'. Provide the line of sight on technical issues, ensure streamer or escalate for delivery recovery action.
    Define and control generic & specific engine configuration (SAP BOM)
    Prepare specific workscope & associated shop visit documents
    Support Work In Progress (WIP) to ensure reliability, cost, and schedule adherence to KPI targets
    Work with OEM and document engine condition findings to support RRMS Safety Management System (SMS), investigations, life assessment, life cycle cost reduction initiatives, scrap reviews and generate engine condition reports for each engine shop visit.
    Support ME on Site Change Control, including the inputs (ESV assessment, Set-up Costs, Skills, parts availability, etc.) needed for Business Commitment Acceptance (SCP&C, Customer Business and Engineering agree the changes and Point of Implementation)
    Evaluate and action Operational queries within the specification of the OEM Manuals within the agreed SLAs.
    Support Continuous Improvement activities through local PMO, Global Standardization and RRMS/RRPS.
    Prepare and issue work instructions upon request.

    Basic Requirements
    Degree or DEC in aeronautics, or aircraft maintenance
    3 years in aeronautics
    Thorough understanding of gas turbine engines
    Understanding of Repair & Overhaul activities including airworthiness rules
    Bilingual: French and English
    Must be Canadian citizen or permanent resident
    Excellent technical writing abilities
    Flexibility to work on modified hours

    ****************************************************************************************************Job SummaryReporting to the Senior Manager of FP&A - Pharmaceutical Distribution, the senior financial analyst will be a key member of the Finance Team and be the key business partner to the McKesson Canada Pharma Distribution Centers. This person will also be responsible for providing value added information to his business partners to support business decisions and financial planning processes. Additionally, the person will be responsible for consolidating rolling forecast information and preparing monthly reports to meet the requirements outlined by the corporate team.Section A – Specific responsibilities
    •    The candidate will act as a business partner and key financial advisor for the McKesson Canada Pharma Distribution centers
    •    Participate to the financial planning process of the Distribution Centers including monthly financial reporting, forecast, budget and long range plan processes
    •    Lead meetings to gathering information for the monthly rolling forecast and risk & opportunities
    •    Ensure the integrity of the financial results.
    •    Provide proactive support and financial analysis to business unit, corporate finance team & directors of operations
    •    Develop, maintain & improve key performance indicators (KPIs) dashboards
    •    Contribute to the continuous improvement of existing work processes as well as support the team with hoc analysis
    •    Produce monthly presentations and reports, trend analysis of business unit expenses and lead the review of monthly results with each distribution center
    Section B - Qualifications
    •    Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in Finance or Accounting. CPA designation required. An MBA with a finance background will also be considered.
    •    5 - 7 years of experience in finance, budgeting and forecasting
