The lifeguard will also provide superior customer service to resort guests and owners in order to ensure a smooth daily operation.

Act appropriately in emergency procedures (as trained).Make recommendations to Supervisor on any related issues that will enhance guest experience.Maintain a clean facility at all times including performing cleaning duties of entrance ways, lobby, multi-purpose and first aid rooms, pool, deck and change rooms.Ensure pool decks, chairs, hot tub areas and equipment are cleaned and well organized.Follow up on guest requests, questions and concerns in a prompt and attentive manner.Enforce pool rules, ex. smoking, drinking, and reserving chairs etc.Document any damage or maintenance deficiencies and missing inventory items.Interact with guests and homeowners to provide accurate resort information.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
Placement, positioning and upkeep of padding and fencing.Tree line trimming and removal of fallen trees or other hazardous items from trails.Respond to and document issues reported by Ski Patrol in an appropriate time frame.Maintain snow levels around buildings, hill benches and waste receptacles.Responsible for removing and placing ski racks on nightly basis.Hand Cleaning of hills and rest areas.Assist with Grooming, Snowmaking and Grounds Maintenance when required
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

This position assists guests in our Tube Park, starting them down the track and guiding/assisting them at the bottom.
To provide a great experience for the guest through polite, professional and engaging conversation while ensuring a high level of service.Check guest tickets to ensure they are visible, properly fastened and within the allotted time.Track maintenance and test tracks daily for safety and report any issues.Control the flow of customers within the tracks.Ensure customer safety within the park by following rules and guidelines set by management.Snow removal as required.

HOURLY RATE: Starting at $19.29 per hour

FULL OR PART-TIME HOURS:
Full Time: Average 4-5 shifts/weekPart Time: Average 1-3 shifts/week
The Race Coach is responsible for the safety, skill development and supervision of all athletes on their team. It is also the responsibility of the Race Coach to help the Supervisors create and maintain an athlete centered training and race environment by providing quality service in a professional, well-organized and up to date manner. The Race Coach will also assist the Head Coach, Supervisors and Race Administrative Coordinators with all aspects of training and race duties as required.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
Provide a safe, fun and personalized race training environment for skill development of our athletes.Work with the Manager and Assistant Manager of Race, Race Supervisors and your co-coach to design, implement, evaluate and adjust season-long training and competition plans.Engage, motivate and lead your team and athletes.Teach by example with frequent demonstrations.Be prepared with a plan and maintain an accurate journal of training activities.Maintain frequent contact with parents.Facilitate team trips to other races and events in the area.Promotes Blue Mountain and acts as role model for athletes.
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
Must hold a minimum ACA-CSC Entry Level Trained / Certified qualification (i.e. Level 1).Must hold a minimum Canadian Ski Instructors Alliance (CSIA) Level 1.Willing and able to work outdoors in a variety of unpredictable weather conditions.Previous race, race coach and/or ski instructing experience considered an asset.Strong communication and interpersonal skills and excellent customer services skills.Must be able to work weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) from Christmas through March Break.Successful applicants (18yrs of age+) are required to provide a Criminal Background Check (Vulnerable Sector Search).
