    POSITION SUMMARY:

    Inspection: Performs visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials and components using appropriate tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).     Packing & Shipping: Physically prepares goods for outbound shipments, including packing, labeling, and ensuring readiness for carrier pickup. Supports the Logistics Specialist by ensuring shipments are physically ready on time.

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
    Degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred). 2–3 years of experience in a warehouse or materials management environment (medical device industry preferred). Experience working with government contracts, ensuring compliance with ISO 13485 standards, would be an asset. Experience with inventory management software and ERP Systems.     Receiving: Receives incoming shipments and verifies accuracy against packing lists and purchase orders. Records all receiving transactions in the ERP system, including quantities, serial numbers, lot numbers, and expiry dates. Ensures proper labeling and traceability of received materials. Communicates any discrepancies to the appropriate teams for resolution
    Inspection: Performs visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials and components using appropriate tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges). Reviews supplier documentation including Certificates of Conformance, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), and inspection reports. Maintains inspection equipment and ensures calibration is up to date. Identifies and reports non-conforming materials; initiates and supports the non-conformance process (NC). Records inspection results and maintains accurate documentation in accordance with company procedures.
    Packing & Shipping: Physically prepares goods for outbound shipments, including packing, labeling, and ensuring readiness for carrier pickup. Supports the Logistics Specialist by ensuring shipments are physically ready on time.

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
    Degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred). 2–3 years of experience in a warehouse or materials management environment (medical device industry preferred). Experience working with government contracts, ensuring compliance with ISO 13485 standards, would be an asset. Experience with inventory management software and ERP Systems.
