    PRINCIPALES RESPONSABILITÉS

    • Tenir un registre quotidien des événements, des dépannages et de tout autre incident susceptible d'affecter le fonctionnement de l'installation. Les problèmes et incidents majeurs doivent être signalés à la direction de l'installation, au laboratoire et au service SSE, qui détermineront si des mesures ou des rapports supplémentaires sont nécessaires.
    • Participer aux analyses par voie humide, sous la supervision de la direction de l'installation, du laboratoire ou du service HSE, et les réaliser afin de garantir le bon fonctionnement de la STEUI.
    • Contribuer à la mise en œuvre et à la modification des cuves et de leur agencement en fonction du fonctionnement de la STEUI.
    • Préparer et compiler les données relatives au fonctionnement de l'installation, aux résultats des rejets de déchets, à la consommation de produits chimiques de traitement, à la production de boues et aux besoins de maintenance des équipements.
    • Assister et guider les prestataires externes lors de l'enlèvement des déchets des installations de traitement et de la STEUI afin de limiter les risques de confusion, d'incidents SSE et d'erreurs de manipulation de produits chimiques.
    • Apporter son soutien aux équipes d'intervention d'urgence, au service SSE, aux sous-traitants et au service de maintenance lors d'incidents environnementaux ou d'évacuations d'ateliers de traitement.
    • Effectuer d'autres tâches connexes à l'appui du laboratoire, de la supervision opérationnelle des nouveaux démarrages ou des entrepreneurs (Ex Tekno ou autres) afin de garantir que le personnel travaille dans le cadre de la structure requise des installations pour atteindre la conformité requise.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Diplôme d'études secondaires + 5 ans d'expérience pertinente ou une combinaison d'études et d'expérience.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Ensures that the equipment associated with the IWWTF functions and performs to established criteria, enabling the facility to operate safely and satisfactorily within the stipulated discharge limits established by the Federal, provincial and municipal authorities and in accordance with their applicable regulations.
    • Adhere to all established procedures for the safe and proper operation of the IWWTF.
    • Maintains required inventory levels of chemicals needed to run the IWWTF
    • Perform light maintenance and coordinate all major repairs with the maintenance and facilities department. This includes scrubbers' maintenance as required.
    • Ensure the waste compound storage area (back of IWWTF concentrates area) is clean and properly maintained. In conjunction with the maintenance department ensure the proper and safe removal of waste generated by the cycles I and II shops along with the sludge generated by the IWWTF.
    • Assist and guide the process line operators with rinse tank cleanliness and process tanks level maintenance in accordance with established procedures
    • Maintain a daily log of events, troubleshooting, and all other occurrences which may be pertinent to facility operations. Major problems and incidents shall be reported to the facility, laboratory and HSE management who will ascertain if further actions or reporting is required.
    • Assist and carries wet analysis under the facility, laboratory or HSE supervision which are related to the proper functioning of the IWWTF.
    • Assists in implementing and modifying tanks and tank layouts in relation to the IWWTF operations.
    • Prepares and compiles data on the functioning of the facility, waste discharge results, treatment chemical usages, sludge generation, and equipment maintenance requirements.
    • Assist and guide external contractors during waste removal from process and IWWTF facilities to reduce and eliminate confusion, reduce and eliminate the likelihood of HSE incidents and removal of wrong chemicals.
    • Assist ERT, HSE, sub-contractors, and maintenance during environmental event or process shop evacuations.
    • Perform other related duties in support of laboratory, operational supervision of new starts or contractors (Ex Tekno or others) to ensure workforce perform within the required structure of the facilities to achieve the required compliance.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Highschool degree + 5 years of pertinent experience or a combination of education and experience
    • Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS)/Attestation of College Studies (ACS)/Diploma of College Studies (DCS) in related field is considered and asset
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
    • Language: Fluency in French and English, written and spoken
    • Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada

    Orthodontic Dental Assistant

    We are looking for a dependable Part-time Ortho Registered Dental Assistant to join our orthodontic division at Valleyview Dental (in Town of Valleyview)!

    We are a focused on providing outstanding patient care. Our patients must be treated like family, and attention to detail to ensure patient comfort is necessary! We are fully digital (no more alginates!) and use indirect bonding systems and Invisalign to streamline treatment delivery. Experience with orthodontic appliances, iTero scanner, and twin brackets is required but training will our systems will be provided.

    Work days are alternating Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, but can be negotiated. Short term contracts of 6 and 12 months can be offered, and if interested, a permanent position can be made available. The ability to travel to the town of Valleyview is required. Travel accommodations can be arranged based on working days and length of commitment.

    Requirements:

    Registered with CADA (College of Alberta Dental Assistants)
    Orthodontic module with at least 1 year full time ortho experience
    Must be computer proficient
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    Caring and compassionate to patients
    Ability to work well independently and with others
