    Qualifications:

    • 3-5 years of progressive experience with EDI scenarios involving SAP and 3rd party EDI service providers including experience in EDI strategic planning and daily operations.

    • EDI Testing and Validation experience.

    • Proven success in developing and maintaining effective business relationships.

    • Knowledge of EDI Translator software, proven hands-on experience with EDI transaction and messaging structures.

  • PrecisionERP is seeking two Senior Business Analysts on a Dynamics 365 project. This work will be done on a hybrid onsite basis, with 5 days of consecutive onsite time in Ottawa, ON per month. We are looking to engage two Business Analysts (BA) to facilitate the process, bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, and drive the project towards successful completion.
    Contract Duration: Starting as soon as possible, lasting until March 31, 2026 with potential for extensions.
    Major Requirements: Eligibility for a SECRET clearance is required, already having a Federal clearance is preferred.Solid Business Analysis background – a true Business Analyst in the traditional sense, gather requirements, look at business processes and how to support them etc., the role is not tilted towards technical skills or programming. Ideally someone with strong communication skills, speaking in meetings to determine their needs, strong speaking experience not just documentation.An extroverted personality is desired, someone with presence who can present and be comfortable with their skills and experience, able to speak to it as well.Someone confident, able to speak their mind, who will ask questions unprompted, so they can look at all aspects and understand everything very clearly.


    The Business Analyst role includes:
    Provide Support: To stakeholders across workstreams needing assistance in understanding and testing the new functionality.Process Mapping: Analyze existing business processes and workflows to determine areas for improvement and ensure alignment with D365 and business goals.Data Analysis: Evaluate current data sets and new data requirements that will be required to facilitate data migration activities.Testing and Validation: Assist in the development of the Microsoft Business Process Catalogue to assist in the development of security roles, test cases and scenarios, ensuring that our solution meets business requirements from PI to PI.Training and Support: Assist the People Pillar to develop training materials and conduct training sessions to ensure user adoption and proficiency.

    Expertise: The resource, with experience in Microsoft D365 implementations, specifically Finance and Operations ERP. The consultant will bring valuable expertise in aligning business processes with technology, ensuring that the system implemented is tailored to our organization’s needs.Efficiency: The BA will streamline the communication process between technical teams and workstreams, leading to faster decision-making and more efficient project execution. We need more vocal BAs that will help our teams to make decisions surrounding the solution and how to test it.User Adoption: By focusing on onboarding, training and user engagement, the BA will facilitate a smoother transition to D365 increasing the likelihood of successful user adoption and overall project success.Increased Effort in 2025-2026: We are now starting to take on more Program tasks that will be adding to the workload of delivering the Application Solution. The workstreams will need to complete Data Migration tasks, reporting tasks, and other tasks surrounding the business process catalogue.
    Responsibilities:The Business Analyst will be responsible for:Participate in workstream workshops to gather requirements.Reviewing and approving solution designs, use cases, and functional design documents.Analyzing existing processes and identifying opportunities for improvement.Collaborating with IT teams to ensure system configurations align with business needs.Assisting our SMEs with user acceptance testing (UAT) and being available for support sessions.Assisting with the development of training for end-users.Develop and document ERP functional, business, and/or system requirements specificationsDevelop and document screen, report and interface requirementsDevelop functional, business, and/or system interface or capability interactionGather and analyze information to establish the functional needs of a system or projectDesign methods and procedures for computer systems, and sub-systems of larger systemsDevelop, test and implement small computer systems, and sub-systems of larger systemsDocument forms, manuals, programs, data files, and proceduresCoach, mentor and train the organization to perform any of the above
    Specialties could include but are not limited to:Software knowledge in Process Mapping Software (e.g., MS Visio), SharePoint, Dynamics AX/D365 ERP, and Azure DevOps.Demonstrated functional knowledge with Supply Chain Finance, Manufacturing, Order Management, and Inventory.Knowledge of Cloud and networking in a hybrid environment
