    About the Cleaner You are dedicated, hardworking and detail-oriented. You love ensuring guests are cared for and you will go above and beyond to support your team. You’re responsible for maintaining a safe, clean and well-organized spa environment through consistent monitoring of all areas. You’ll ensure each Circuit is clean, sanitized and stocked with amenities. You’re comfortable working at a fast pace without compromising quality.
    Responsibilities Manage your schedule, show up on time, and coordinate with other hosts to find a replacement if you ever can’t make a shift Thoroughly clean and sanitize and stage the Circuits prior to each session Provide shift handover notes for the next cleaner Fold laundry and clean dishes in back of house Stock supplies and maintain accurate inventory lists Review the guest bookings as required Support manager on duty with the various additional tasks Communicate any occurrences involving staff or guests that require attention to the manager on duty Communicate any maintenance issues to the manager on duty
    Qualifications Minimum of 1 year hospitality and/or cleaning/janitorial experience Must be able to lift, move, push, pull, and carry up to 25 lbs Must live in Vancouver and be available including outside of standard hours Additional Details Location: 1297 Johnston St, Vancouver, BC Compensation: $22/hr Position: Full-time or Part-time Reports to: General Manager

    The Dufferin Peel Catholic District School Board is accepting Contract Floater Custodian and Cleaner applications.
    Custodian and Cleaner staff work with the Lead Hand / Head Custodian in the care, securing and operation of the physical plant.
    POSITION - Floater Custodians and Cleaners
    Temporary Contract Position : Part-time and Full-time
    LOCATION Mississauga, Brampton, Caledon, Bolton and Orangeville
    Salary : $25.15 per hour
    Hours of Work: Cleaners – Monday to Friday – 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. or 4:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
    Floater Custodians - must be available for all three shifts. 3:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. *Full Flexibility is also required to be called in for a day shift as early as 6:30 a.m. *
    EDUCATION /QUALIFICATIONS
    Proof of completion of grade 12 education or post-secondary Require past cleaning/custodial experience. Floating Custodians may be required to travel to schools within Mississauga, Brampton, Bolton, Caledon and Orangeville Resume/Cover Letter A valid ‘G’ driver’s license and insurance will only be required for Floater Custodians

    Building Cleaner

    Job Summary: Clean entrances and office areas in the main office, truck shop, heavy equipment shop, welding shop, safety/training department and common areas in the apartment block.   Responsibilities:  Sweep and wash all floors.  Dust and/or wash all furniture (cabinets, desks, tables, laundry machines, etc.) in offices, meeting rooms, common areas, apartment block.  Clean and disinfect refrigerators and staff coffee rooms. Wash all dishes, coffee pots, etc.  Stock supplies area.  Clean, disinfect and polish bathroom fixtures and appliances.  Pick up debris and empty trash containers.  Wash windows, walls, doors and ceilings. Clean empty apartments as required.  Other duties as assigned.   Skills, Knowledge, & Abilities:  Light lifting required.  Attention to detail.  Ability to job task plan and organize.   Working Conditions :  Indoors, office environment.  Monday to Friday, up to 40 hours per week.
