THE ROLE Under the supervision of the Arena Superintendent, the Maintenance/Cleaner picks up debris and empty trash containers. Replace garbage bags. Implement and apply maintenance and cleaning schedules. Advise supervisor of any damages or need for repairs. Perform general repairs. Perform grounds maintenance. Cut grass and trim bushes and hedges. QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED Education, Certifications and Licenses High school diploma AND some years experience in a related field Experience In providing cleaning services In performing maintenance jobs and repairs an asset Competencies, Skills and Abilities Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership. As part of CFMWS, our mandate is to provide affordable golf to our local military personnel and their families. You provide cleaning services while adhering to health and safety policies and guidelines. The Cleaner sweeps, mops, vacuums, washes floors and cleans and disinfects washrooms. The incumbent empties trashcans and other waste containers. The Cleaner may be asked to arrange tables, chairs and other furniture in preparation for functions and assist with cleanup and garbage removal.
