About the Company Our client is one of North America’s most experienced submetering providers looking to hire a Manager - IT Operations About the Opportunity This is a new role and will be the right hand man for the VP – IT. Expect this person to be not deep in infra (no requirements to do things hands on) but be able to figure it out. Ensuring IT operations is improved, improving service desk, implementing best practices and leading practices, keeping things consistent, working with development team, ensure smooth operations for development / infra, helping with cost and working closely with the vendor. The client is focused heavily on tactical aspects and wants to be hands off as he wants to be more strategic. This role is not a people management role and is more focused on IT process improvements. Initial projects: IT process improvements IT reporting on all measures Financial Analysis/Contract Management AI opportunities Drive IT (internal) initiatives for Organization Process and Documentation in IT Intranet ownership, etc. About You Around 10 years of experience with leading IT improvement initiatives like developing strategic plans, enhance efficiency, reduce cost, improve service delivery (creating SLA / KPI) Min 8 to 10 years of experience with process optimization, analyzing existing IT processes, identify bottlenecks, implement best practices to streamline workflows and improve overall performance Hands on experience with IT operations process documentation Strong and proven experience in ITIL framework and implementing best practices Strong communication skills.
