Core development is done in Java, Spring and JavaScript, although the nature of our work allows project teams the opportunity to work with a wide variety of technologies. Recent projects weve delivered include technologies such as React, Angular, Moleculer, Node.js , MongoDB, Kafka, Hadoop, Kotlin, Cloud Foundry and AWS.
    As QA Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to work with a cross-functional collaborative team to identify issues, develop test plans and execute test cases, write automated tests, and contribute to the overall quality of the project. While working within a team in an Agile environment, you will be: Facilitating discussions between leadership, clients and developers to identify and document functional requirements Developing and documenting test plans to ensure appropriate testing of the application code developed by the project team Developing, documenting, automating, and executing test cases to verify the application code developed by the project team Gathering and processing business information related to procedures, data and processes to clarify business issues/requirements Driving QA strategy and investigating, applying and evolving QA tools, processes and best practices including metrics and analytics Collaborating directly with development team to deliver projects on-time and on-budget to the clients satisfaction 'Must Have' Skills/Experience Experience and expertise in automated testing methodologies, frameworks, tools, and best practices Programming experience in Java/JavaScript Experience testing APIs Familiarity with mocking external dependencies and exploratory testing techniques Exposure to and enthusiasm for Agile approaches to software development Proven client-facing, partnership and presentation skills Strong problem solving abilities Ability to consolidate diverse business requirements and facilitate realistic, common sense solutions Bachelors Degree in one of: Business, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science or Physics (or equivalent education/experience) For more info on Electric Mind, check out our Careers Page and Instagram .
