The Opportunity
We are seeking a WMS Technical Specialist to support the successful launch and ongoing optimization of our Warehouse Management System (WMS) within the 3PL Division. In this role, you will play a key part in implementing the end-to-end Tecsys Mainline WMS solution using the iTopia Framework, ensuring seamless integration with warehouse operations and consistent application of WMS processes across all functional areas.
You will be responsible for system configuration, functional testing, setup of new features, and continuous enhancement of warehouse processes. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a major systems rollout, improve operational efficiency, and help shape the future of our WMS environment.
What You’ll Do
Configure and maintain the Tecsys Mainline WMS, including workflows, rules, allocation strategies, and user setup.Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reliability.Support new warehouse launches, site expansions, and rollout of new WMS modules.Coordinate system upgrades, patches, deployments, and configuration migrations.Install and test warehouse hardware (RF devices, printers) and provide technical support to end users.Use PostgreSQL and integration tools (APIs, flat files, EDI) to resolve data issues and ensure accurate data flow.Conduct system testing, go-live support, issue triage, and post-implementation stabilization.Generate operational reports, support user training, and contribute to special projects as needed.
What You Bring
**MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH WMS**Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.3–7 years of WMS experience, with hands-on Tecsys Mainline expertise strongly preferred.Background in distribution, logistics, or warehouse operations is an asset.Strong knowledge of the iTopia framework, system integrations, APIs, EDI, and data migration workflows.Proficiency in SQL, with hands-on PostgreSQL experience (queries, views, troubleshooting, optimization).Familiarity with RF devices, barcode formats, label printing, and warehouse automation tools.Ability to analyze system logs, data files, and interface messages to diagnose issues.Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to write clear reports, documentation, and technical communication.Experience with cloud-based WMS platforms is considered an asset.

The Surface Logistics Coordinator’s role is to provide exemplary customer service and logistics support for our valued clients This includes providing pricing and service options, booking and monitoring shipments, and acting as a first point of contact for customer inquiries. The Surface Logistics Coordinator will work to build meaningful, long-term partnerships with our customers and key vendors to support business growth objectives.
What You’ll Do
Act as first point of contact for external and internal client inquiries including pricing and booking requests.Negotiate competitive multi-modal freight rates with partners.Facilitate end-to-end support for customer shipments including booking shipments with carrier partners. Prepare and ensure accuracy of shipping documentation.Track shipments and provide proactive updates to customers while making necessary milestone updates in TMS.Investigate and resolve shipping challenges and deploy corrective actions.Provide exemplary customer support and communication to build strong client partnerships.Work with clients to expand business portfolio and enhance current logistics program.Audit and approve vendor invoices to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.Provide support for KWE Fleet related activities as needed. Support Claims department to resolve customer challenges as needed.Ensure carrier Service Level Agreement compliance requirements are met. Support miscellaneous reporting and administrative requirements for internal and external customers.Provide cross-functional support to internal departments as required.Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures.
What You Bring
Formal Academic training in a related field of study from two-year college or technical school and six months to one- year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.Intermediate personal computer skills including electronic mail, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
