    Position Overview:Reporting to the Senior Manager, Finance and Business Insights, the Financial Analyst is a key member of the Nature’s Way Business Insights Team. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for interpreting and transforming data into insights that will create recommendations to inform the Nature’s Way Canada team the external demand and factors influencing the market.
    This highly collaborative role is a key connection point between Finance and the Demand Teams (Sales, Innovation and Marketing) which will rely on their strong analytical capabilities to gather, synthesize, and provide information and recommendations that will be used to drive profitable topline growth. We’re looking for an analyst to dig into the details and tell a story through data.
    This role would Ideally be a Hybrid Role, reporting into the Dartmouth NS Office.
    Summary Description:Responsible for the interpretation of external market data such as Nielsen, AmazonHomescanIndustry Portals (GOED, Mintel)Material Commodity Reporting (Mintec) Macro-economic factors (Inflation, Cold and Flu Prevalence, etc.)and numerous customer portals Create monthly insights package that take the vast amount of data that is available and provide the Canadian Senior Management team a thorough analysis of the Highlights / lowlights and can effectively communicate the recommendations arising from these insights. Responsible for upload raw data into existing Power BI Tools, through Power Query and other methods. Perform Customer and Brand Profitability P&L Statements and provide insights and recommendations.Perform Financial Profitability Assessments for Promotional Plans by Customer and/or Brand, to ensure positive ROI with respect to trade Spend. Complete post promotion evaluation analysis and report back to all key stakeholders the KPI results, key success factors and opportunities to improve effectiveness.Support Financial Month End with performing Co-op trade spend assessments to ensure effective Accounting of Promotions.Support the Innovation team, by creating extensive competitive Reviews of all New Product Development that focus on comparing, potency, format, price per dose, and SRP pricing vs all competing items in the marketplace. Support the Sales, Marketing, and Innovation team by fulfilling ad hoc reporting requests using existing Power BI and Analysis for Excel Tools. Support the Business Insights team with Ad hoc Request as required related to scope of role.
    Required Qualifications:
    University degree in Data Analytics, Business or equivalent experience1-3 years of experience in performing analysis within a CPG environment where data synthesizing and analysis have been primary responsibilities. Exceptional proficiency in MS Excel, Power BI, Power Query and visual dashboards.Able to function in a fast-paced environment, successfully prioritizing and completing multiple tasks.Must have excellent communication skills in both written and oral form.Organized, diligent, detail-oriented and self-motivated team player.Analytical and problem-solving skillsSelf-sufficient and able to operate effectively without close supervision.
