Position: Pest Control Technician
Location: Halifax, NS
Job Type: Seasonal (End Date: August 31, 2026, with potential for extension)
Schedule: Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week, with overtime opportunities
What You'll Do
Perform interior and exterior pest inspections for residential customersIdentify pests, entry points, and potential infestationsApply appropriate treatments for pests and rodentsComplete service reports for work performed and products usedProvide excellent customer service and answer customer inquiriesRecommend solutions to resolve customer concernsMaintain strong customer relationships while representing the company professionally

Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds of equipmentComfortable working in a variety of environments including crawl spaces and dusty areasAbility to perform physical duties such as walking, crouching, balancing, and reaching

Self-motivated and able to work independentlyReliable with strong communication skillsSomeone who takes pride in their workStrong interpersonal skills and ability to build customer relationshipsQuick thinker who enjoys problem-solving
We will support you in obtaining your Structural Exterminator License, including training materials, study support, and assistance registering for the exam.
Requirements:
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving recordMust be 21 years or older to operate a company vehicleInterest in pest control or learning a skilled trade
Important: Prior to starting, successful candidates must complete their licensing exam and required training.
