Sr. Technical Program Manager, Amazon Fulfillment Technologies (AFT) - Workforce Optimization Our team is looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead large programs impacting hundreds of thousands of associates across Amazon's fulfillment network. These programs aim to increase the flexibility of our fulfillment workforce through proactive training as well as to improve data privacy through centralized data access policies and tools. As the leader of these programs, you will get the opportunity to work on highly visible projects that directly impact the associate experience. You will be involved in all aspects of the software development cycle including scoping, design, implementation, testing, and delivery of your product as well as adoption across Amazon.
Key job responsibilities
In this position, you will lead multiple work streams involving collaboration across different tech and business teams. You will be responsible for driving technical direction, execution, and adoption. You will work with Software Managers, Program Managers, Product Managers, and Software Developers across organizations to define, deliver, and report on the status of our roadmaps.
You should be able to take complex and ambiguous business requirements and break them down into manageable projects, write functional specifications where appropriate, and then deliver them in a successful and timely manner. You should be equally comfortable digging into business requirements as you are drilling into architecture and design with development teams. You are not fazed by ambiguity or competing priorities. You anticipate bottlenecks and are an expert at balancing business needs versus technical constraints to move projects forward quickly. Successful candidates will have a technical background, be detail-driven, have excellent problem-solving abilities, and be able to communicate and influence at all levels.
